P4 Rapid is a revolutionary way to confirm heat in dairy cows, developed by Ridgeway Science, world-leading experts in animal progesterone analysis. It helps farmers determine the best time to artificially inseminate their cows and can save them significant time and money on their herd management.
Ridgeway Science asked us to help them develop a coherent brand and marketing strategy for P4 Rapid in order to increase sales of the product both in the UK and worldwide.
The target market for P4 Rapid includes vets and farmers so we had to be particularly careful to clearly explain the benefits of the product in a way that balanced the clever science behind it with its practical application in the farmyard.

Under Katie and her team’s expert guidance, we revised the entire suite of literature and overhauled the website – both of which had an immediate impact on customer engagement.’
We revitalised the existing logo and branding to make it more contemporary whilst still highlighting P4 Rapid’s key selling point of results in five minutes. We applied this branding across the pack design, product information and a new website.
In order to clearly communicate how to use the test worldwide we simplified the instructions into six visual steps which we published both as clear and easy to understand copy on the website and as a video animation. To support Ridgeway Science’s international distributors, we created a system to provide foreign language overlays for all their marketing resources.
We have recently amended the illustrations to include further product development. We also continue to support their global distributors with translated marketing material.
