The Client

Optimum Vision Clinic (OVC) is an independent optician in Tadley, Hampshire.  Their aim is to achieve and maintain the best eye health for their patients. To realise this, they like to provide their patients with the complete package as they know that it is not just the prescription that delivers good vision but the fitting, measurements and quality of the lenses that ensure the best product for their eyes.

They allow an hour for each appointment to ensure a comprehensive eye test, offer top quality lenses and have more than 1500 frames to choose from.  They use the state of the art technology both for testing eyes and dispensing frames.

The Brief

OVC wanted to entrench their position as the leading independent optician in the area.  And to move to a fully responsive website.  Their website needed to communicate that OVC were  

An Optician that people trust to provide the best care for their eyes.
An Optician that people know provides the best choice of frames available.
An Optician that provides value for money by providing great service and transparent costs.

The Solution

We created a WordPress website, using their branding as our colour palette to create a clean and professional feel. WordPress was chosen as it has a simple to use backend that staff can easily update. And it also provides the flexibility to expand in tandem with their business growth.

Crucial to conveying their independence and speeding up the customer journey of trust was the investment in good photography of the practice.  This was then supported by clear easy to read copy which mirrored their desire to be transparent in their service offering and costs.   Clear site navigation and strong visual calls to action help the site visitors quickly find what they are looking for; be that booking an appointment, finding out what to do if they have an emergency eye problem or simply looking for reassurance that OVC will provide them with the care they seek.

The website was fully optimised for launch, and 301 redirects were carried out when the site transferred to maintain ranking.

On going

We continue to support OVC with monthly marketing support which includes social media management, social media advertising, local advertising, email marketing, and blog content.
