The Client
Border Sundials are made to commission by Capel Tenison from his workshop in the Welsh Borders. Each of Capel’s sundials is personally hand engraved and built using both time honoured skills and cutting edge technology and have earned Border Sundials a reputation for craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail.
The Brief
Capel wished to raise Border Sundial’s profile on line.
He saw the opportunity that social media provided to promote his sundials as the ideal peronsalised gift. And as a route to drive customers to his online shop.
The Solution
We agreed a strategy based around sundials as gifts, targeting key gifting times. This was overlaid with curation of interesting sundial facts and images. Current Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest accounts were rebranded and re-organised.
In order to increase followers we run periodic competitions to win sundials. These are boosted by paid promotion on Facebook. We also write news posts for the website both to improve SEO and provide social content.
Recently we have provided Border Sundials with PR support, advised on photography and written the copy for their new brochure.

We continue to provide Border Sundials with on-going management of their social media and PR.
